Another great innovation from Summit!
Summit is always looking for new ways to help South Africans manage their money better, so when Ochre Moving Pictures asked us to be the financial brains behind SABC1’s new reality show, In Debt, we were thrilled at the opportunity to tell real stories and offer real advice to South Africans struggling with debt. We were even more excited when our very Thoko Nchabeleng was chosen to be the show’s official Debt Doctor.
Starting on 10 December 2011, Thoko will captivate South Africa every Saturday at 17h30, on SABC1, as she does what she loves most – helping consumers get real about their finances and educating the nation on the dangers of debt.

Thoko is a passionate financial wellbeing expert who joined Summit in 2004. She believes in empowering consumers through tough love, but is always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. She is also a qualified Debt Counsellor with the National Credit Regulator.
