Budget buddy is a spending plan delivered to Summit clients who are experiencing tough times.

The spending plan details a two week meal plan, with recipes and options, which the consumer can use to significantly reduce their grocery spend. The culturally friendly and dietician approved menu’s provides two options for dinner, one for lunch and one for breakfast. There are four different spending plans that fit into four different salary bands which we based on well researched best practice. The lowest salary band has a spending plan of less than R1,200 per month for a family of four (assuming two teenage sons).

The result is significantly more disposable income available by spending less on groceries. This also provides much comfort to credit providers that debt relief plans proposed by Summit include living costs matched to best practices and thereby are not excessive.
